Smart Sensors offers a new, highly competitive dimension in commercial opportunities for the use of iris biometrics in identity checking and management applications, with the potential to satisfy both the stringent performance and economic requirements of advanced biometrics within projects such as ID Cards and Border Access Control that must operate on an international scale.

Smart Sensors is UK based, and now seeks licensees, investors and other technical and commercial partners with whom it can work to package the new algorithms with standard iris image capture hardware, and integrated biometric systems.
