MIRLIN SDK

Software kits for evaluation and development purposes are available, on a variety of processor/OS platforms, and provide the following functions:

• “Get Template” functions extract feature vectors, create templates ready for enrolment, and produce diagnostic information including image quality metrics.
• “CompareTemplates” function provides 1:1 verification of enrol against match (or probe) template. “CompareMultiTemplates” function implements a 1:N identification test with an array of scores returned for every match combination. Templates may be loaded into memory for high speed comparisons.
• MIRLIN produces sets of Weighted Hamming Distance scores. All scores and diagnostics are optionally available to the application developer for production of ranked nearest neighbour lists, and for diagnostic  purposes during research and development.
